It's the
Super Chip Challenge
Last night saw the first "Super Chip Challenge" here at the Grenadier
and what a great evening!
Firstly I would like to thank each and everyone who gave up their Sunday evening to come along and take part in this new four monthly event, it was fantastic to see people having fun with the amount of chips in play (Photo's below) The evening ran on a bit but this was because I just did not know what to do with the blinds (I'll tweak them for the next one)
Every player deserves a big round of applauds especially the eight who made it to the top table.
The blinds ended up at a massive 1,200,000 / 2,400,00 hehehe
So who won? Well Mr Paul Hudson our resident ref won the challenge with Sean Meekings taking second and John Metcalf Snr grabbing third... Very Well Played guys, great job!
During the game I think Darren became the first million chip stack holder and Sean held the first "Million Chip" and we all know now why stacks of chips are called "stacks" because who would of thought I would have helped Darren carry his piles to the top table ;) hehehe
