As from 1st September 2007 Roma's Bar will become
a Private Members Lounge Bar and Poker Club

Due to the new Gambling Act 2005 that is coming into effect from September 1st 2007 we have decided to make Roma's Bar into a members club. The changes in the Gambling Act 2005 will allow us to play poker for small stakes and limits as set out in the new law. The new legislation requires us to keep track and records of many items including members stakes, losses and wins. By turning Roma's Bar into a Members Club it will make record keeping much easier plus allowing us to keep player numbers under control so that there are seats available for players as we are limited to the amount of players we can physically seat in the room.

Roma's Bar was created for several reasons, firstly as a quiet "getaway" bar where people can have a nice quiet drink if our two main bars are busy. Roma's is nicely furnished with leather arm chairs and sofa's and has a fully stocked cocktail bar including fine wines and champagnes the bar now has Harvey's Best Bitter, Carling and Kronenbourg on draught.

Roma's Bar is open to Full Members Wednesday - Monday from 7pm untill Midnight

Roma's Bar is open to League Members Thursday and Saturday 7pm until Midnight

Roma's Bar is open to Social Members Wednesday - Monday 7pm until Midnight
