Please see separate table etiquette page .10. Players must not consume food at the tables.11. All players will start with the same amount of chips and plays until they have lost all their chips or only one player remains and has gained all the chips from every player.12. Players arriving late may play only if they have called ahead to sign in, their blinds and hands must be put in and folded until they arrive. If a late player has still not arrived after 30 minutes of the game starting their chips will be removed from play and they will be signed out first on the sheet, i.e. last in game they will be expected to pay for the game.13. “Chipping Up” will occur when the blinds suggest it is appropriate, the amounts involved are dependant on the game type and chip values being played. Any other form of colouring up chips will not include the rounding up method.14. To start the game and decide the dealer each player will draw a card from a shuffled deck and the highest card drawn will indicate the dealer, if to or more of the high cards are the same the highest card will descend in this order: Spades, Hearts, Diamonds, Clubs.15. The dealer will then rotate in a clockwise direction at the end of each hand.16. The two players to the left of the dealer must place their respective blinds before cards are dealt and are obligated to place the blind bets.17. If the player in the small blind is eliminated then the button moves to the empty position and the person behind the button deals for the missing player . The other players post blinds as usual. If the player in the big blind is eliminated, the small blind position is dead and only the big blind is placed. The hand following this hand will see the blinds return to normal.18. "Betting" The minimum bet must equal the "Big Blind" unless the player betting cannot afford this bet and then will call "All in"19. “Raising bets” When raising a bet the amount of the raise must equal the previous bet and then what ever the raise amount the player wishes which begins from the smallest value chip in play.20. At some point during game play as players are eliminated tables will have to be reassigned. When tables and seating is reassigned the players must move to their new table and assigned seat number. Players that are placed in the blind positions may choose whether to play the blind hands or not. If a player decides to not play the blinds they must wait until the dealer button has passed them before they start play.21. Any player that is missing (ie WC Break) they must be dealt in and their blinds if due must be paid and when it is the turn of the missing player to act their hands must be folded and placed in the folded pile by the dealer or a player nominated by the dealer.22. The “Burn” cards and “Folded” cards MUST be kept separate until the game has finished.23. If a players cards accidentally touch the FOLDED or BURNT pile during a hand those cards MUST be folded into the Folded pile and the player concerned loses all rights to that hand, Cards must be gently placed in the center of the table if folding. Chip/card protectors are recommended to prevent confusion.24. During a hand the dealer is the only person allowed to touch the “Folded” card pile, at the end of the hand the dealer must collect all the cards in and pass to the next dealer.25. Players MUST verbally announce their betting action.26. If a player makes a bet they cannot change their mind at all even if it's to put more chips in… See Table etiquette page .27. If a player lacks sufficient chips for a blind or a forced bet, the player is entitled to get action on whatever amount of chips the player has. In this situation a side pot could occur for players with remaining chips from other players involved in that hand. The dealer should look after the chip piles and amounts.28. When a player or players are “All In” and no more betting can be made all cards in play must be turned face up for the rest of the hand.29. In order for a player that has been called to claim a pot, the winner must show both hole cards to all the players in the hand.30. If a player has called a bet to see another players hand the players concerned MUST show their hands, these cards must be shown quickly DO NOT slow roll and this includes both cards… see table etiquette page .31. In the event of a “split pot” occurring the chips must be shared equally if a chip is left over is must go to the first player to the dealers left.32. When a player loses all their chips “BUSTS OUT” they have been eliminated from the game and must leave the table immediately to avoid confusion.33. When a player BUSTS OUT they must inform the tournament director, referee or computer operator immediately so you can be signed out in the correct position, The busting out player must also sign the sign out sheet in the correct position. Failure to do this will result in your name will be placed at the bottom of the sign out sheet therefore loosing valuable points, winnings or prizes.34. All games will be played until only one player is remaining and has gained all the chips in play in that game.35. When the amount of remaining players reaches eight the game play will stop for a short moment to arrange reassigning seating positions for a “Top Table”36. The “Top Table” may have an assigned dealer allowing the final players to concentrate on the game if a nominated dealer is available. If no nominated dealer is available game play will carry on as usual and the players deal for themselves.37. During game play if two or more players are busted out in the same hand the player with the most chips going into that hand will be given the higer finishing position working downwards to the player with the least amount of chips.38. At all times during game play all the players chips must be in full view of all the other players with the only exception of a player moving after being reassigned to a different seating position.39. At all times during game play players cards must be above the table top in view of all players.40. Players must shuffle cards above the table top in view of all the players.41. During a hand players must not show other players their hole cards even if the cards have been folded. Players must also not discuss what cards they have folded. If this occurs all the other players must see the shown cards and the person doing this reminded of game rules.42, Players must not look through folded, burnt or un-dealt cards even when a hand is finished. Once the table is happy with the result of a hand all cards must be collected together, under no circumstances should further cards be dealt to see a possible outcome of a hand. (even for a Royal Flush)43. During a hand players must refrain from discussing possible hands available/being played as this can put off players involved with the hand, this also includes dealers and especially players that have folded their hands.44. No player should throw their chips into play they must be placed carefully and politely then carefully moved to the centre of the table when the dealer has stated that the pots good. See Table etiquette Page .45. If a player throws in their chips and they touch another players pot those chips will automatically become the others players chips, now known as automatic ownership rule without dispute.46. During a hand the dealer is the only person that is allowed to touch the chips in the centre of the table. If a player requires “Change” they ask a person sitting next to them first before asking the dealer for change from the table centre pile of chips.47. All players that have "busted out" and wish to watch the games being played MUST stand at least two meters from the table and not interfere with game play.48. All players who have busted out must not interfere with any players that are still in the game this includes talking, whispering or making gestures.49. All Players must turn mobile communication equipment to “Silent” before game play starts. There is only one exception to this… If a player is on a call out schedule ie Emergency Services etc if this is the case please inform players before game play…. They will understand50.
