Here are some of the details regarding the Pub Tournament, We have now registered the Grenny and are now waiting for further details and instructions regarding player registration. As I mentioned on the News & Messages Page registration for players should take place here at the Grenny as soon as we know what to do, however, it does look like we can have more than fifteen players which is Fantastic News as everyone will be able to have a go :o) but I will confirm this as soon as possible. By participating in the Championship, players and Licensed Premises agree to reasonable publicity by both Ladbrokespoker.com and The Publican (CMPi). Contact details for tournament winners and participants may be shared with CMPi. Tournament reports and Leaderboards may also feature the name and alias of players and the name and address of Licensed Premises. This promotion is only open to Licensed Premises with physical premises in the UK. The Online Pub Poker Championship will be a series of weekly poker tournaments held online at Ladbrokespoker.com. Players must be over 18 and resident in the UK to take part in this promotion. Players will accumulate points for themselves and for their licensed premises according to their finishing position in each tournament. 20 players will be invited to a Grand Final on Sunday 9th December at The Ladbrokes Casino & Sports Bar in Paddington, London. Each of the finalists will be offered an allowance of 150 for overnight accommodation and train travel expenses. Accommodation at Hilton Paddington will be reserved by Ladbrokes for the finalists - subject to availability and affordability within the allowance paid. Grand final first prize will be a $5,500 cruise ticket on the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise III for the winner (plus guest), which includes $2,000 flight allowance and sets sail on 25th January 2008. Player and pub leaderboards will be published in The Publican and on Ladbrokespoker.com The licensed premises with the most points at the end of the Championship in December will win a celebrity night at their licensed premises. The Promoters cannot guarantee the attendance of all celebrities named. Once the winning licensed premise is identified, The Promoters will be in touch to discuss the arrangements, dates, and attendance. A limited bar tab and professional poker tournament may also be provided for the chosen night at The Promoters discretion. Licensed Premises may be eligible for a free pub poker pack if they have at least 15 unique people representing them during the Championship. This means that 15 unique players must register for the tournament and choose that specific licensed premises at the time of registration at ladbrokespoker.com/pub and then go on to play in at least one of the Pub Poker Championship tournaments. Pub Poker Packs will consist of poker tabletops, chips and cards, as well as point of sale material. The promoter reserves the right to alter the contents of the pack at any time without any prior notice. Only one Pub Poker Pack is allowed per licensed premises. Whilst the Promoter aims to provide the best quality equipment they accept no responsibility or liability for the quality or ongoing maintenance of the equipment, including but not limited to the distribution, storage, use or replacement of the equipment. In the event of a service crash or a disruption, the promotion for that day will be rerun at the discretion of Ladbrokes. Ladbrokes will be the sole arbiter as to whether a promotion will be rerun. Ladbrokes accepts no responsibility whatsoever for system or connection problems that might affect any player during any of these promotions, such as a fold / timeout.
